[classy=apptite]SYDNEY AGATHA SOCKO
[/classy]
SEVENTEEN. HYPER. FUNNY. OMNISEXUAL. SINGLE.
[classy=appdesc]Oh, hey London! Look who's it is! It's Sydney Agatha Socko! Oh, uh... perhaps you know them by their nickname, Socko or Aggy? Anyway, this certain blessing in disguise came to us on July 28th, and grew up to be a teensy one hudred sixty-one cenimeters. You can always tell it's aggy because of their platinum hair, blue-gray eyes and short... everything. Not to mention they've gotten themselves no tattoos, those are for losers! You know, everyone says they look like agyness deyn? I personally don't see it though ....

[classy=app1]The fat lard of a principal looked over his papers with a rather disinterested attitude. He noticed you sitting down, but doesn't really have the courtesy to look up from his desk. To you, he says out loud. "Let's begin sha'll we? Tell me the basic details about yourself." With a cough, he shuffled through is papers and glanced at you once through his small eye glasses.
The perky young blonde was sitting patiently in her chair, posture erect. After all, when you were only five feet and three inches tall, you liked sitting up and making yourself look longer. "Oh, m' name's Sydney Agatha Socko. M' friends call me Aggy or Socko or Sparky most of the time, so you can, too!" The blond's accent was a very subtle, 'posh' southern London accent, but she had hints of a midwestern, American accent as well. "I am currently seventeen years of age and a senior. My birthday was July twenty-ninth, and I most rcently turned seventeen. Let's see, what else... I attended school in London this most recent year, as I've been alternating back and forth for almost all of my life. I don't mind new schools at all! I'm very adept at making friends and all that." Sydney skipped the part at how often she lost friends as well. The girl was terrible at thinking in the long term and possed almost no tact. She was also terrible at reading other people. Body language, subtlties, hints, all were lost on her. She liked everything like she liked her instant oatmeal packets: quick, easy, and covered in facts about dinosaurs.
With a sigh, he leaned back in his chair, threw his glasses on the desk and ran his chubby fingers through thinning, greasy hair. He pinched the nose of his bridge and closed his eyes tightly as he said, "You know about the truth of this place. Now, I didn't invite you personally, my staff did. So please, give me a run down of your power." With his eyes still shut, the principal gestured with one arm toward you to begin.
Sydney brightened up immediately. "Oh, this is fucking cool, watch, 'm a generator!" She snapped her fingers, and when the two digits were separated, a spark of lightning danced between them. "Wicked, right? It can be kind of tricky, though, I mean, I fried my friend's mobile a couple of years ago. I've always been really rather shocking, I mean, when I was a babe and crawled across the carpet or something, my hair would stand up and I'd give my mum and dad little shocks standing up. Anyway, I've been doing little tricks like the one I just showed you practically all of my life, but the past few years I've been adding more and more things to what I can do. Like, wait, wait, this is so ace, where's your computer?" In a moment, Sydney had spotted the out-of-date pc behind the principal's desk. "Watch, watch this, I love doing this." She held her hands out and took a deep breath, then managed to drain the electricity completely out of the computer's battery until the thing shut down. "See, it gives me more energy, and I can do other little things that require energy I don't just have because even though I control all of this electricity and junk I don't really generate much more than the average joe so when I drain something like that it lets me do more stuff and also I feel way more awake and don't have to sleep if I don't want to." Sydney was practically jumping up and down; it was obvious just how much extra energy she had taken in. "The things I can do with the extra energy is like, oh, I can make a little shield, which blocks some physical things but mostly absorbs energy and junk and I can touch live wire and stuff because I think I absorb electric anything? and I can do a sort of grinding sommat on metal things or wires like telephone wires, or train tracks, but there aren't many trains here and it makes me quite sad, oh, I can touch the third rail and not die, I'm quite special, you see. Anyway I really hope my powers keep on growing like this because it's bloody cool, isn't it?"
Finally, his eyes opened groggily. However, he wasn't much warmer. He yawned loudly and largely as he looked over your paper. With eyes watery and face red he continued, "I see why we would have invited you. Let's see..ah yes. Mind telling a bit about your family and where you're from?"
Sydney was, unlike many of the students here, absolutely in love with her unusual past. "Oh, yeah, it's really quite funny. You see, my mum and pop met when they were both in college; my pop, his name is Stephen, but everyone really calls him Steve, he was American and twenty-one and a photographer and he noticed my mum just sitting in the park one day looking lovely and he asked to photograph her. My mum -her name is Dahlia- agreed, because she wanted to be a model and a designer and was going to school for fashion, and they fell in love and I was born really rapidly. My mum's modelling career kind of went down the drain but she was an amazing mother and she's a great designer and my pop's photography was doing pretty well, he always seemed to be off somewhere. At the same time, though, they really married too young, because they kind of fell out of love. I mean, they're friends and all now, but my pop moved back to Virginia, in the US, and my mom stayed in London, although we traveled around all the time to do fashion shows and the like. So, they worked out some kind of deal -I don't really remember when it happened, I was only really six- where I would spend a year with each of them. When I lived with my father in Virginia, I would attend a lovely little private school there, and when I lived with my mum, I'd usually do some kind of homeschooling since we moved around quite a bit." Sydney took a moment and continued thinking. "A few years ago, my pop relocated to Castles, you know Castles, right there, on the mainland, lovely little town, though it's been growing, and he met this amazing woman who's now my stepmum. Her name is Helen, and she's simply amazing. She was the one who suggested I attend here when I arrived this summer, since she knew about my powers and all of that. They have a four-year-old daughter, her name is Holly and she's the dearest little thing, I love her so much, and then Helen just gave birth to a baby boy, they've named him Jet, he has a full head of black hair and we have simply no idea where it came from! I mean, my father and mum are both blondes, and my stepmum is a redhead, she has the most lovely copper hair, I'm really quite jealous, but I can't grow my hair out, or it'll catch on fire when I get all sparky, seriously, it happened once, it was terrible." At this point, Sydney couldn't tell if the principal was satisfied or not, so she continued. "My mum hasn't remarried at all, she's very work-focused, although she has had a few boyfriends, and none of them seem to be very intelligent, models rarely are, but they're pretty nice for the most part, you know." Sydney had gotten a bit bored talking about her family, and
While you were talking, the principal had made himself comfortable by leaning back in his chair and intertwining his fingers. "Hmpf. You should fit right in. May I ask, what are your plans in the future? Outside of AMG?"
At this point, Sydney just made several "oohing" noises. "You know, I'm not quite sure. I absolutely adore moving around, it's really quite fun, so I'll definitely be some kind of traveler, perhaps a photographer like my pop, or a journalist, or maybe I'll go into the news! I love going out and reporting on the world, I love keeping up with it all!" Sydney grinned. "I mean, unless you can think of something to do with my power, because really, I can't. Except this. Pew pew pew pew pew!" Sydney shot little lightning bolts at the ceiling through her pointer fingers, making "gun" hands and sound effects. Really, it's no good without the sounds effects. There were now burn marks on the ceiling in the shape of a smiley face, too, for future people to enjoy.
He looks much more interested now, rather awake and in a slightly better mood. "Tell me, do you have any hobbies?" he inquired, creating soft jazz hands at the word 'hobbies' as if to mock it. "You're aware that it may be difficult to continue these on the island, as you may not leave outside of break?" It was more of a statement than a question.
Sydney jumped up; she needed to burn some energy. "Oh, I don't really have too many hobbies that are special. I take photos -usually with film cameras, since digital ones tend to get fried in my hands- and I'll doodle, ooh, I like making things with my powers, like did you know I can solder things with the heat from the lightning bits? I mean, it's a wee bit convoluted, but if I think about it I can make awesome little bits, usually jewelry. Look and enjoy!" Sydney hopped up onto the principal's desk, right next to a globe that looked like it had at one point been thrown against a wall, shattered, and hastily fixed. She held out her arms, on which there was an assortment of metal bangles that looked homemade in a cool way. There was a couple of key necklaces around her neck, and some particularly awesome rings, and a pair of rad earrings. [link1 link2 link3 link4 link5] "I made all of this, you see. Hmm. P'raps I should join up with my mum and start designing things like this. It's really rather fun." Sydney winked at the principal. "See anything you like? I sell all of this!"
The principal crossed his fat arms and leaned on his desk. In a much more serious tone, he asked, "Be honest, child. How do you feel about all of this...supernatural stuff?" his shoulders shrugged as he said it.
Sydney raised an eyebrow and jumped back down onto the regular floor, beginning some pacing. "Supernatural stuff? What of it? It's no big deal. I can conduct more electricity than normal people, big whoop. One of my old friends could control metal, it was really rather funny, I met her in Italy. I don't know what I think about it, it's been there all of my life, I don't really think much of it. I'm sparky and cool. What of it?"
He leaned back on the chair that squeaked under his weight. "I see. Personally, I have mixed feelings. Anyway, we're finished now." The Principal grunted loudly as he got up to shake your hand. "It was a pleasure meeting you, do you have any questions for AMG?" he added, as he let go of your hand and buzzed the receptionist to lead you out.
Sydney shook the principal's hand with vigor. "Yeah, I do have one question for you. Do you give every kid the same interview questions? Because really, this seems so canned and repeated. You also seem kind of like a guy who deal with a lot of bullshite. I mean, really, man, you don't react to anything, it's kind of odd. Oh, hey, there's a pretty receptionist lady!" Sydney strutted on over to the receptionist and waved a happy goodbye to the principal.
