She is relatively new, as she's from California and they didn't know about her until recently. She's been through the mill, so to speak. Her home life wasn't very good. While her parents weren't bad to her, really, they weren't very good to her either. She felt isolated, even among her many friends, which she spent time with every day. She's been bullied for several years about different things, especially her weight. She struggled with anorexia for a long time, but has so far been able to beat it. She's a closeted lesbian, so insecure that she won't even admit to herself that she likes girls. She believes that homosexuality is wrong and hates it about herself. FRIENDS will really depend on the other person. In general, she likes people, but experience has shown her that a lot of people can't be trusted, so she'll struggle with that. But she will want to be surrounded by people. ENEMIES are pretty likely. There's just something about her that people don't like. I imagine a lot of people will see her as that stupid Californian girl who doesn't know anything about life, because she's only ever been homeschooled and even then she skipped a lot. She spent most of her life with the sun and sand and it's evident in her appearance, so there might be people who jump to conclusions. LOVERS would be pretty few. She's a virgin, though most people don't believe that when they hear it. After her latest boyfriend killed himself, she might be a bit afraid to get close to anyone like that. However, she may eventually want to find a guy to make her seem straight or something. It could also be possible that one day, she'd find a girl that would make her accept herself as she is. Al & Marie: When I read her, at first I was like, "Oh, they could be friends, Al's a friendly guy, blah blah blah," especially with the anorexia bit (Al is such a sweetiepie lksdfgodjsg). BUT THEN. I saw her bit about thinking homosexuality is wrong. I'm not sure how strongly she feels, but maybe we could do something where they're pretty good friends, until she finds out Al's gay? Dramaaaaaa.
Felix & Marie: HMMM. Felix would prolly try and get her to party with him every now and then. He'd flirt, all the time, of course, and maybe try to get into her pants, but as soon as(if?) she's like "NO. FER SRS." he'll let up. No hard feelings ;D
Socko & Marie: HRM. I dunno. Socko's hyper and annoying and silly and childlike, and I'm not sure how she'd interact with Marie. MAYBE, she'd make all kinds of insensitive comments about weight or something? I mean, Socko's pretty skinny without really trying, so she prolly doesn't really think about stuff like that too much. I'm not sure! If nothing, FRIENDS ARE EASY.
Dare & Marie: Dare's pretty proper and sweet, and he wouldn't really judge her right off that back. Hmmm... I'm not sure! I haven't done much with him yet, SO! Help me out here. ;D
Add/Delete/Fire at will!

Tony wants everyone around him to be happy and he loves to make friends and he would probably be drawn to her if he ever got the hint that she was unhappy. He's very nice and has a little bit of charm and occasionally he might accidentally say something about her weight but overall I could see them getting very close. Unless he annoyed her. :Z
CRYSS: Cat fight on aisle three! Cryss is very sexual with just about every gender ever and would probably hit on Marie, but as soon as she found out that Marie was against homosexuality, it'll be out with the claws.
MICKEY: Mickey wouldn't like her, particularly after finding out that she doesn't like gays. Neither one of them, I think, would really do anything about it, but they wouldn't be friends.
SHER: I really want to see how things go between my little lesbian and yours. Unlike Marie, Sher is both open and comfortable with her sexuality. She's also very religious. While I think that she and Marie would be really good friends, Sher's sexuality could get in the way and if she's aware of why Marie doesn't like her, it would really upset her. It wouldn't make her angry and I doubt that Marie would bully her for it, but it would suck that you couldn't be friends with someone just because you like girls. She's had her fair share of bullying because of it, of course, but I think that if they became friends first then it would be very different. The bullies would have been bad people in her mind, but with one of her friends it would really hurt and I don't know. These two have a lot of possibilities. She's also the type I could see Sher being attracted to and trying to flirt with, if that helps. IunnoIunno.
MASSY: I think she and Massy would probably be friends. Massy has a very high level of tolerance when it comes to friends just because she's very empathetic. (Heh. Geddit? Cause she's an empath.) But yeah. They would be friends, I think.
ANNIE: Uuuuuuh, Annie and her might be friends. They could get very close, but I dunno. I don't have many ideas here. What do you think?

Al & Marie: I think the drama would be awesome. I really like that idea, yes. In my head though, she's not homophobic, she just doesn't like that she's a lesbian because of things her parents have said to her. I feel like it would bother her that her friend was gay but more because he was comfortable and she wasn't than the fact that he wanted to sleep with men.
Felix & Marie: I think this idea is also excellent. She might even like, try asking him out or something over time, but I don't think he's into commitment or anything. She wouldn't want to sleep with him either way, so probably they'd just be friends. Even as friends though, I think the flirting would still be cute, provided he knew she wasn't interested and she knew he was joking.
Socko & Marie: I think I'd like the antagonistic relationship between them more than the cop-out friends thing. I can't imagine Socko would deliberately be mean, so I think a big misunderstanding would just be the case, but I want there to be hard feelings, yanno?
Dare & Marie: I see their relationship being rather limited, but friendly. Maybe they met once and still wave to each other in the halls but don't have the drive to really get close? I don't know, that sounds kind of lame. Any ideas after hearing that? [/classy]

She's a good actor. No one here will know unless she tells them. But they could be good friends anyway. I think. I'd like to see her find someone to cling to and open up to and be able to trust completely. But he'd have to work for that level of trust for a while.
CRYSS: Like I said to Sapphy, she's not really against homosexuality. She'd never protest or say it was gross to see two guys make out or anything, but it's something about herself that she feels is completely wrong in any way that it could be. She wants it to change desperately and when she can't do it, it's devastating. Cryss would probably scare her, in all honesty. Having a girl hit on her is conflicting for her so she would be driven away by that.
MICKEY: Like with Al, I think she'd probably admire his confidence in his sexual orientation. But I think interactions would be limited, even though I think Marie might want to be able to be like him.
SHER: Friends, definitely. I think Marie would be very interested in Sher's ability to be homosexual and religious at the same time and she'd ask a lot of questions that would probably sound offensive but she's really just curious. I think Sher could potentially be the one to get her out of her shell and out of the closet and allow her to realize that faking it isn't going to make things change. Maybe?
MASSY: Friends is good, yes. She might be a little uneasy around Massy at first, because of the
ANNIE: I FOUND HIM. omg so much searching. Anyways IDK about these two, man. Just friends, I think.

Woo! :3 CRYSS: Aw. No claws. Ah, well. That could work, too. Cryss is used to being rejected because she comes on too strong. xD MICKEY: See, I was wrong about everyone. Well, okay. I think that maybe since Mickey is really blunt, if we could find a way to make them friends, it could make her more comfortable with herself. He can be an inspiration. :3 Whichissortofwhatyousaidnbd. SHER: Aaaaaw. I like that idea! About Sher helping her out of her shell. She'd be totally willing to do that, and she wouldn't mind the questions. It would be great! :3 We could work with a potential romance later down the line. MASSY: Yeeeeup. ANNIE: Basicimally. Al & Marie: Hmm... Maaaaybe, since after Al gets back from the kidnapping, he does this massive coming out thing, maybe after that she gets kind of distant? Like, because he totally has struggled a lot with it, and maybe he'd perceive it has her being a bit homophobic?
Felix & Marie: Totally, broski, totes. Party frands fer sure.
Socko & Marie: Yes! I like it! Like, Socko would probably say something insensitive and then wouldn't understand why the hell Marie got all offended or something, then some hard feelings from there. Sweeeeeet.
Dare & Marie: Acquaintances sound fine. The lovely thing is we don't have to have epic relationships with every character.
