She grew up in Castles, with just her mother. Life wasn't hard though; they had a large inherited a fair amount of money. This is her third year at AMG, and she is notorious for being a trouble maker. The teachers know her for being so rowdy, and the students know her as 'that pink haired girl'. Hart is acts crazy, and seems to have no limits to the amount of energy she puts into things. Whyte, a rather quite guy, is one of her best friends for a long time. His father being a major CEO of a potato chip company, owned a vacation home in Castles. So from a young age, he and Hart had spent countless summers together, even though he is a year older than her (which makes him a senior

[/color]). As the two grew up, Hart was very much pressuring Whyte to do things like smoking and drinking and drugs (the typical vices of a teenager). However, being a more artistic guy, he didn't approve much of the lifestyle and sees the affect it has on Charlotte's power. This is quite evident, as Whyte's body is littered with homemade tattoos, something his father completely disapproves of.

And now that Whyte is nearly graduating from AMG and seeking out art colleges, his father is exceptionally disappointed with him and especially with his looks. Hart is as reckless as ever, partying it up whenever she can; showing up to school half hammered three days out of five. Whyte sees this, and can't help but intervene. But is it really because of Hart's bad habits? He had no problem with it before ... Hart is upset with his sudden mentoring attitude, and accuses him of lashing out at her because of his dad.

Hart hates the restrictions, and Whyte is entirely confused on what he's doing with his life The two see themselves partially drifting and missing each other's company. But whether or not they can salvage it would be up to you and your fellow roleplayers!

Although they are twins, they have different powers. Ethan is able to manipulate sound, meaning he can amplify or muffle the noises around him. Although it isn't fully developed, he has become pretty skilled at it. On the other hand Jude is able to manipulate light, meaning he can brighten or dim the light around him. He can even bend it to make the world around him look like a mirage. He isn't as developed as his brother, but he is able to control his power for longer. The twins are incredibly close, famous for completing each other's sentences and their long, intricate handshake. However, there is a degree of difference between the two. Ethan is much more serious and critical, where Jude is airy and carefree. Their personalities do clash on occasion, but they're masters at solving the problems that regularly arise with each other; so their fights do not last long at all. And it's the little things that differentiate the duo like their favourite ice cream flavours, favourite colors, hair styling products etc. Ethan and Jude grew up with a fairly average childhood with both their parents. However, they are not residents of Castles. They come from the packed city of New York, NY. Castles was a huge change for them, and they constantly joke about how they live in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of rednecks. Their parents work backstage in Broadway shows, so money was tight most of the time. It was a huge relief for them when Ethan and Jude were invited to AMG, as they hadn't need to worry about providing for them as much. The pair want to follow their parents' footsteps into the limelight, and pursue careers in music. For now, they are doing it on the side and it's particularly cool because of Ethan's ability to manipulate sound (he can amplify their voices, or double them up, etc.). But their relationship takes a strain, as Ethan and Jude feel the stress of school and friends and can hardly find the time for music. Not to mention, for the first time in their lives, they aren't sharing a room. However, things reach a breaking point as news traveled to them that one of their uncles was in a harsh car wreck. Ethan was closer to this uncle than Jude, and felt obligated to leave AMG to see his parents and his uncle. But Jude had never been on good terms with this uncle (this dynamic you can make up), and feels betrayed when Ethan tells him that he wants to leave AMG. Ethan pauses his decision to mend things with Jude before leaving, but Jude is refusing to cooperate. In fact, he has sworn never to talk to Ethan for as long as he could help it. This is incredibly stressful for Ethan, as his uncle's health gets worse by the day. [/classy]

[/color] from sunny California just arrived at AMG, as they had just recently discovered her. She is a stranger to the city, not to mention she looks entirely out of place. Her skin is tanned and her hair had been bleached from the sun. Back in Cali, she had spent hours at a time just on the beach, since she was home-schooled. Her parents, total paranoid hippies, fit the California scene and enrich Marie's life with unorthodox ideas.

Olsen, is also a junior[/color] but is much more reserved than her friend Marie. The two had clicked instantly, as outcasts from the main student body. Unlike Marie, she had grown up on the East coast and on a farm just outside of Castles. She's accustomed to quite life with livestock, and this busy school seems like a dizzying scene. Her parents are dairy farmers, making Olsen a huge fan of cows, and not so much of beef.

Although they seem like an unlikely pair, their loyalty to each other is undeniable. However, A new issue arises between the two. Marie's power (the ability to possess people) is acting out. She is finding herself taking control of bodies of random strangers. The staff at AMG advise her that it is probably because she's getting older. Things seem fine between the two of them, but when Marie accidentally possess Olsen, there is a new dynamic.

Olsen is the kind of girl that likes things in order, and likes to control things (OCD?). And when her very own body is stripped from her control, she is confused and angry. The first time will make things tense between the two. She'll insist that the whole incident was fine, when it really wasn't. And when Marie does it for the second, third, fourth time, Olsen doesn't feel like its accidental anymore. (What Mare does with Olsen's body is entirely upto you!) Perhaps its just paranoia, but Olsen is growing weary of Marie and her 'accidents'.

But truth to be told, Marie is sick. Admittedly, the first time was an accident... but now she's obsessed. She loves Olsen's body, and is craving to possess it once more. But she's unsure how long she can get away with this. Marie's aware that Olsen's paranoia is starting to become accurate, but she can't seem to help herself.

[/color] at AMG does not come from a necessarily happy past. At the age of four, her mother had left her and her father due to money constraints and her father's developing drinking problem. Rather than sticking through the marriage, her mother left the two of them to fend for themselves. She had offered to take Taylor with her, but her father was determined to raise his daughter. Although the bringing up wasn't entirely ideal, it had its moments. Among the abusive moments, were rare moments where her father would be sober and happy and loving. However, most of the time, she had spent her life taking care of her dad, or at a neighbor's house when he wasn't able to take care of her. Living with an alcoholic took an emotional and physical toll on Taylor, her body bumped and bruised from continuous abuse.

When she was invited to attend AMG, she was somewhat excited to leave the situation at home, but also a bit nervous about leaving him be on his own. As a result, Taylor is a bit ... reckless. She's a big participant on the illegal activity on the island, helping smuggle drugs (and at the same time doing them), and she's a part of the main part-hard crowd at AMG. This part of her also makes her quite promiscuous, throwing her body at anyone decent that will take her.

Enter Carter, a helpless freshman[/color] caught in Hurricane Taylor. As her roommate, he sees her stumble in helplessly on countless occasions. He's a very logical guy; a strong Atheist and a star AMG athlete. He grew up in the southern states, moving from town to town as his parents found work. Carter grew up with three older sisters (whether they're at AMG is up to you), and is no stranger to taking care of girls. Even though he too, is a recipient of Taylor's flirtations, he tries his best not to fall for it.

At first, he did like the attention. Cuddling up with her and being all cheeky wasn't something he did enjoy, that was for sure. He's very much aware of her unforgiving past, and is a bit honored to be in a part of her life that wasn't so dark. Taylor is flattered by his willingness to help and to comfort, a quality she doesn't see in most men in her life.

And as her actions push the buttons of their relationship, the two are unsure if the feelings they have for each other are real or not. Carter is afraid of trying to commit to a girl that has such deep issues, and Taylor is afraid of letting anybody in.

Whether or not something will come out of this relationship is still yet to be determined.

For as long as he could remember, he was able to manipulate time. If he unlocked a certain aspect in his mind, he could slow down, speed up, pause or even reverse time. It first only happened when he was upset, but now, with the help of the AMG staff, he's able to do anything with time on command. As a kid that's scrawny and shy, he was constantly bullied, even at AMG. This makes him a bit bitter and cynical on the inside. And when these new ideas about people with powers advancing over the normal human beings, York can't help but feel like wanting to adopt that idea. Overtime, he thinks more and more lowly of the people who don't have supernatural powers. Jett, a charismatic junior couldn't be anymore different than York. He's a little slow to get things, and it doesn't help his 'dumb jock' label. Jett was one of York's bullies, but overtime, he had seen his mistakes and the two were able to be civil to each other. In fact, the two had been able to become close enough that he too, is intrigued of the idea the supernatural overtaking 'normal' human beings. With this idea in mind, York wants to make an elitist group, already with his first recruit, Jett. As soon as he graduates from AMG, he plans on taking the world by storm and talk to anybody that will listen to him about the superiority of the supernatural. He wants to change the mentality of America, and first, he must start at the schools. Although Jett isn't entirely sold on the idea, York seems to be much more clever than him, and he blindly follows him, just knowing that the idea is controversial and it would probably get him somewhere. He can see how fixated York is on the idea, and it concerns him ... but he doesn't seem to have the confidence to do anything about it. He's aware of other people like York, those guys bent on taking over the world. But to be honest, Jett is intimidated by York and his ability to manipulate time. If he didn't join him, and tried to stop him, there is no doubt in Jett's mind that he would be destroyed. And as time passes, York's passion for this idea becomes more intense and Jett becomes more and more uncomfortable with it. He faces a moral dilemma, and contemplates what he could do. If he were to expose York at this stage, York would be taken away, and become even more bitter. (If you want to bring a teacher into this, feel free!) [/color] from Miami, Florida, is no stranger to getting what she wants. Her ability of invisibility has allowed her to cheat her way into success and to sneak around without getting caught. She is a new addition to AMG, as this is her first and last year here. She's a bit distant when you meet her, not very excitable and quite slow. But don't let that fool you. Lee is quite clever, and nearly always has a plan.

Burnett, on the other hand, a teacher that functions purely on emotion and likes to go with whatever life throws at him. He is from South Africa, giving him an accent and making him a stranger to the Eastern American coast. Burnett's new arrival to America makes him rather lonely and a bit vulnerable.

So when Lee and Burnett meet in class, it only seemed natural that the two clicked. However, it seems that their chemistry can no longer be considered professional. Lee and Burnett, both incredibly passionate and artistic people find themselves having an affair. At first, it's easy to pull off, with Lee's invisibility power. But it becomes evident that this is not just a fling. Lee is convinced that she is falling hard for Burnett, but he is a bit unsure of the whole relationship.

With the risk of losing his job, and emotionally damaging Lee, he isn't sure what to do. But the only thing he is sure of is his intense infatuation with her and he quickly becomes addicted to her presence. Where this relationship goes is really up to the roleplayers, but this kind of relationship is clearly illegal, and Burnett runs the risk of leaving AMG and Lee.

But all hope is not lost. Lee suggests they run away. Run far away. Maybe back to South Africa? Runaway and never look back. Although that idea does seem appealing, Burnett is still quite unsure. Only time will tell where these two will end up.
