[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #DDDDDD; border-top: solid #5a5a5a 5px; width: 500px; padding-top: 20; padding-bottom: 30;][classy=tite]I'VE LIVED LONG ENOUGH TO SEE SOME GOOD FRIENDS DIE[/classy][classy=cont] [/classy] [classy=threader] Looks are deceiving, especially when it comes to Cliff. Born in 1946, he was one of the first babies to be born with genetic mutations after the manipulations and experimentations of the time. After spending four years in the Vietnam War, he was shot down and killed, only to awake two days later, thus discovering his immortality. He was twenty-two at the time, and is stuck in his twenty-two year body, even though he is currently sixty-six. On top of the endless struggle to adjust to his immortality, his wife died recently, so he has to come to grips with her death and the idea that if he ever cares about anyone again, they will one day leave him, too. Because of this, he would likely try to avoid become close to anyone. FRIENDS would, as just explained, be rare and few. However, I feel like he's a sweet old man inside and would be unable to completely keep himself from making friends. He'd probably have favorite students, though he wouldn't treat them any different in classes. In fact, he probably wouldn't talk to them at all. It's probably more like he'd just admire them, completely in a teacher-student way. He's not creepy. Also I think he'd have a good relationship with other teachers. ENEMIES seem more likely, though it's not as though he's going to be brawling in the hallways or anything. Respect is a big deal for him, since he was dishonorably discharged from the army and as an old man in a young man's body, he has trouble getting respect, as people that don't know his actual age assume he has no authority and such. LOVERS is really not an option. After his wife died, he gave up on love. I could see students hitting on him, though, which is a really easy way to get up there on his enemies list, because it makes him feel uncomfortable, in all honesty. In his head he's an old man, and it just seems unnatural and strange to still see his twenty-two year old self in the mirror. When people see only his face and don't bother trying to understand him, it bothers him. [/classy]

She would cause trouble in his classes just to get him to look at her, cause, well, he's hot. xD
So, she could get on his bad side, as you said that he would put the 'flirt-ers' in the enemies group. XD
[By the way ... I freaking love Jim Sturgess.]

I think it'd frustrate him quite a bit, and if it persisted, he'd probably confront her at some point. Like, "Do you realize how old I am? You are fifteen. If I had aged like I was supposed to, you would be wholly terrified of the idea of being romantically involved with me," and such. That could be fun to roleplay, if you're interested?
[Well, who wouldn't? xD][/classy]

He's got this unwitting charm about him and stuff. But yeah. He'd just be like, "YO, EVERETT," all the time, but he'd always be asking to help him with anything he needed help with and idk it just depends on how he'd handle Tony being casual with him, I guess.
Mickey & Cliff: Probably, Cliff would not like Mickey. He's a cocky ass senior. That's just the way he is idk.
Cryss & Cliff: Cryss has this predisposition to teachers because the majority of them think she's stupid because of how old she is (which you know about) so you wouldn't have to worry about her hitting on him, but if he gave her a chance to prove how smart she was he could become like a role model type for her? Maybe he can convince her to stay and school.
Sher & Cliff: I don't think he would like her because she isn't very respectful. She doesn't do it to be disrespectful, with her random outbursts, but she has a lot to say. He could find her amusing and maybe if he understood that he would start to be patient with her, but I don't really see that happening.
Massy & Cliff: Maaaaaassy takes school very serious. She's a very very hard worker and she probably plays teacher's pet a lot without trying to. She's very sweet and considerate, though. She would probably pick up on Cliff's pet peeves really quickly and stuff like that, but, you know. Wouldn't do anything about it. xD They could have a good teacher-student relationship.

But when Tony shows him how he's just trying to be helpful and stuff, he'd relax and they'd probably get on better. Mickey & Cliff:That seems simple enough. xD
Cryss & Cliff:Ooh, I like the "stay in school!" thing. I could totally see them getting close if she was willing to try hard enough, and then he'd try to find reasons for her to stay. That'd be good.
Sher & Cliff:Yeah, I can just see her annoying him, unless she was careful about when she spoke. If she was constantly interrupting him, he'd hate that, but if she was just very opinionated, it'd be okay, as long as she didn't speak out of turn.
Massy & Cliff:These two would get along I think, yes. [/classy]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #DDDDDD; border-top: solid #5a5a5a 5px; width: 400px; padding-top: 20; padding-bottom: 30;] [classy=quickreply]NOAH & CLIFFORD[/classy] [classy=qr2]The thing with Cliff though, is that he is afraid to get too close to people. He would hesitate to take on the fatherly figure role first because he's too old in his head to be a father, really, and secondly because if they got close like father and daughter, he'd eventually have see her die, and he doesn't want that. They can be close as a teacher and a student, though, if she works hard enough on the relationship. With Cliff, most of the relationship depends on the other person. Does that make sense? [/classy]
