We had thought about this before, but we had figured that it would take the focus away from the students at AMG. But instead of shutting down the idea completely, we tried to work out a compromise. If we were to add this member group, there would be some terms: • there will be a limited number of characters in this group • it'll be a first come, first serve basis • there are only 2 ways to make one: fulfill a want ad/be a graduating senior • you must have permission from staff before advertising/changing your member group • all the characters must have preexisting relationships with people at the school So as a member of our community, we encourage you to answer the poll! There are some factors to consider like maintenance, complications and focus of the roleplay. But as roleplayers, we will let you guys vote on it! *Please only vote once, even though you may have multiple accounts. So, when you make the seniors into residents (if they choose to be), are you going to give the rest of the characters the option to move up a grade and age up? Juuuuust wonderin'.

Yeah, I think we'll do that. Perhaps around June-ish we can give people the option to move up? I know a lot of people like to keep their characters as the same grade level, but I guess we'll see!

I'm not too sure, to be honest. I guess we'll have to just cross that bridge when we get there! xD

super new (like, just stepped off the boat new), but i know on the board i admin on, when we reached the end of the school year, all of the characters were advanced a grade (unless we were told they were being held back), and graduating seniors had the option of being archived, made into a citizen, or upgraded into a freshman of the college we also have (we're a RL boarding school/college/small town board). i think it makes sense to have characters advance a grade, especially since they've spent their time in their grade already, and will be learning new skills and growing up and such. but, that's just my few cents from the perspective of someone who already had to do that on her own board (: i definitely think having "citizens" and "residents" adds to a board!

Can we please stick to what Celeste said and make it a choice omg. No disrespect to anyone else, I promise. It's not that I don't think aging up is a good thing but I feel like it will totally make me freak out if suddenly all of my babies are growing up and there's nothing I can do even though they're in my head. Also, since this site has been around since like, what, March maybe? (idk that's when I joined and I felt like one of the few there back then but i don't really know) I feel like most of the characters are so new that they could hardly count as being most of the way through a school year.

Definitely make it a choice but I also think that since we only just started back up again the end of this year should be left alone and then they can move up a grade next year. Just because everyone is still so fresh and new.

I wouldn't mind an age up in June, mostly because I think characters like Felix and Al feel really old to me. :V But whatever the admins decide~
