Growing up in the Peace Corps, his past is a collage of different locations and strange experiences. All these unique experiences have came together to create a rather restless and eclectic person. He hates being burdensome and carries around a lot of resentment towards his childhood. However, Jak can typically cover his darker emotions up with playful smiles and his talkative nature, leading him to make easy friends. He is generally outgoing and friendly, but he's just not used to having to maintain friendships. Jak's happy to befriend pretty much anyone, and although he has a good since of right and wrong, I'm sure he'd be willing to give anybody a try so long as they aren't down right evil, or something. He's willing to help anybody out in tough situations, so he could possibly make some friends in this manner also. As far as enemies go, Jakarta won't go out of his way to make any. Of course, I'm sure someone isn't going to see eye to eye with him, considering that although he doesn't push them on others, Jak won't ever back down on his personal views. Jakarta believes that everyone is created equal and is not afraid to speak out on this belief, which could make him a few enemies with the elitist crowd. Another fault someone might find with Jakarta is the fact that he's only a freshman --- his education was neglected growing up, so he's majorly behind in a lot of subjects. He's not very good at school, considering that he's never been before now, so someone might possibly pick on him for this reason. Another thing Jakarta isn't very good at is romance. He's never been in a relationship before, and after dealing with insecurities brought about by his past, Jakarta isn't the most willing to depend on people. However, if he ever gets into a relationship, Jak would try his hardest to make it work. Jakarta is honestly too innocent to even think of having any one night stands or random hook up unless they were thrust upon him, in which case he would be completely awkward and out of his comfort zone. Actually, the whole idea of romance is pretty much out of his comfort zone ... ( hope you all enjoyed my big ass paragraph and here's his app ^_^ ) [/classy]

Right now, Jakarta is pretty much just smiling at everyone and trying not to piss anyone off too much, so friends is very probable for these two :) Emerson; I love this! Jakarta would totally love being her friend, and I can see him being really concerned for her and her party-side, always wanting to make sure she's okay and stuff. Aw, the crush would be so cute! Jakarta would be just like "uh, what?" and then blush a lot, because he's totally awkward when it comes to that stuff :) I think, though, he'd feel really comfortable around her anyways and would be willing to do most anything for her ^_^ Jace;

Haha, alright, so- Haiden is a very observant little bugger. she notices the tiniest of things. Anyway, to get to the thick of it- I think Haiden will pick on poor Jakarta. She'll notice that he's a little-awkward freshie, and won't buy into the whole " nice guy " persona. Perhaps they could meet like.. oh! maybe she sees him getting coned into something by upperclassmen, since he's so innocent and gullible. Then her aggressive personality forces her to help out the guy. So they'd have a an awkward mutual.. thingy? Or maybe he could look up to her if you want. So Jakarta is just about the freshiest of all the freshies, meaning that he'll fall for just about anything Haiden throws at him, as long as he doesn't find any harm in it. So if she helped him out of a tough situation (that he would totally fall for with upperclassmen), I can see him becoming quite loyal to her. Like you said, big bad sister type relationship, to where Jak will see no fault in the abuse she gives him, simply because he doesn't want her to get mad at him and dislike him. And if she does do something to majorly upset him, I can see him sort of just gritting his teeth and bearing with her, just because he knows he needs to learn to fit in at AMG and has to have some sort of friendships (no matter how twisted or misused) to survive. And he'll still probably feel indebted to her for helping him out, that's just how he is. So that's my take on these evil plans of yours :) [/classy]

She would be very interested in his past and might like the idea that he could potentially ease some memories of hers. Or at least, that's what I assume from him being a memory manipulator.

ALAN;[/i][/color]This is Alan’s plotter. These two could be friends, I think. I feel like Jak would be willing to reach out to Alan, based on the traits you have at the top. And I think maybe he could convince Alan to talk more often, since it says Jak likes talking. Regardless of being deaf, Alan's a very good speaker, he just needs someone who will listen, I guess.

PACIFIC;[/b][/i]This is Pac’s plotter. Pacific is easier to plot, though, because he loves everyone! I'm getting that vibe from Jak, too, so they'd be great. They're both sixteen but they're on either extreme of high school, so that could be interesting. Pacific would do what he could to make Jak more comfortable with himself and his past and all that, and would always be there if he needed anything. But if Jak ever wanted space, he'd understand that, too.

Aside from that, I think they would make adorable friends. :3 They both really like to help people. SHER: Ahhhhhh, this one's kind of tricky. I imagine they would be friends, but they wouldn't be particularly close. Especially not if Sher found out what his power was. (I had a character with that power on EOAS1! You were much nicer to yours. Mine was half blind and had mind-numbing headaches all the time. :Z) She wouldn't want him to see anything about her living in the Favelas. She's okay with talking about living in the ghetto now, but back then was scary and she doesn't want people to feel bad for her. Plus, she did see her brother's torn-in-two body. She'd mostly avoid him for his own sake, just in case. JANE: These two would probably be friends. :3 Nothing particularly interesting, I don't think. I mean she doesn't talk, but hey. Ideas would be cool if you have 'em! TONY: Bros.'Nough said. MICKEY: Aaaaaaaaaah, Mickey and Jakarta could probably be buds just because their powers are a bit similar. Jakarta would probably try to steer clear of him for obvious reasons, and since his morals are just about the only thing Jakarta actually shows guts about, I don't think these two should come into contact too often. Alexa; So he would totally love her, considering she's so cute and shy and whatnot. They have a lot of social issues in common, like you said, so they could initially bond over that. I think if she showed any interest in his power, though, Jakarta would have some trouble. He has very little control over it, and I think he'd be very concerned with her wanting to have any memories tampered with (he's done this accidentally before and it's a sore spot in his past). He'd want to help her in any way, but he'd have a lot of inner conflict with just the idea of someone willingly wanting their memories to be changed. Alan;

[/b] So, I really do think these two could be good friends. Jakarta has had to learn good communication and language skills throughout his life living in the Peace Corps, traveling the world and whatnot, so I can see him being extremely patient whilst talking with Alan. And he'd totally love Alan's ability with languages.. He'd probably love talking with Alan, and listening to him in turn. I think this friendship would be good for both of them :)

Marie;[/b] Hmm, let's see here ... I can sort of see these two having a very relaxed relationship.Like, I think Jak would initially be drawn in to her because she does seem lonely, so he'd want to maybe reach out towards her. But then they'd have more in common than he thought, such as homechooling, and he'd realize that he's just as bad as off as she is, so he'd feel more free to talk around her and stuff ... That's about it, though, so yep, mutual lonliness.

Pacific;[/b]Gah, I just love Pacific :) Anyways, I think it's cool how they are sort of like complete opposites, and yet they do have a lot of similar personality traits. I think Pacific will sort of be a senior that Jakarta really looks up to, considering that Pac's so smart and well-liked and awesome. And I'd love to see Jakarta sort of open up towards him, and as long as Pacific is willing to help him out with some school work sometimes ('cause the poor thing sure needs the help), I think these two could have a good friendship ^_^

He wouldn't really understand why she's so distant towards him, because he can't control his power at all and only uses it when he's really emotionally unstable.
