"Ughhh." she moaned. There was so much stress that filled Maddy's mind. Frustrated, she buried herself in her blankets and pillows. It was right after school, and Maddy was eager to get to her dorm and just have some quiet time. Students and a teacher were kidnapped of the island, and it worried her. She wasn't close to any of them, other than Al, but still. She had talked to these people just earlier this week. It could have been her, and to Maddy, that was just as scary.
"Hmmmm." she hummed to release some anger. She'd go and surf, but she was too paranoid that she'd get kidnapped too. Maddy couldn't even venture out on the island and burn energy because of her paranoia. Instead, Maddy just buried herself further into her blankets and tried to forget it all. But it was impossible. Flashes of Al's laugh and smile flashed through her mind. Her entire body went cold, and she wanted to see him safe and sound at that very moment. Who knew what they were doing to them? Experiments? Torture? It was all just too much for Maddy.
She was glad to have this time alone to herself. The only private time she got back in San Diego was out on the water, since her siblings and parents were always home, and she hated being cooped up in her room. The sun was going to set in a few minutes, but for now, Maddy was safe to cuddle with herself in the natural sunlight. It was moments like this she wished she had a dog or cat or pig or something. Just something or someone to hold and just feel safe with.
Maddy considered Tony ... but he must be so shaken up. Both of his best friends were kidnapped too. She wanted to give him some time alone, like she was having, to kind of process the idea and to learn how to live with it, if she could. Her eyes closed on themselves tightly, and Maddy tried so, so hard to push the thoughts out of her mind. Stressing was bad for your body, Maddy learned that from her parents. So instead of throwing a tantrum, she listened to the silence the dorm provided, and tried to find some kind of tranquil medium.

She was completely oblivious to the outside world. She was currently dancing down the hallway to her dorm. She was listening to 'Starships, by Nicki Minaj' Noah was mouthing the words, rapping along. Noah knew that she was making a fool out of herself but she actually enjoyed it. Noah wasn't the type to get embarrassed very easily.
As Noah reached her room she chuckled before opening the door. In the enclosure of the dorm she started to sing out loud. "Bump in my hootie, hootie hoop. I owe that. And I ain't paying my rent this month, I owe that." Noah continued to rap, including the swear words in her song. She pulled off her shoes throwing them to her side of the room. She took out her phone and checked it for messages before throwing the item on her unmade bed.
Comparing both sides of the room they were complete opposites. Noah's was a complete mess whilst her room mates side was much neater. Noah had clothes, shoes, food packets and lots of other items on the floor of her side of the room. She didn't really mind the mess. The room was perfectly cut in half dividing the mess with the clean.
Noah turned off her music and threw the ipod onto her bedside table. She turned on her laptop, picking up a half empty can of red bull from the side table and taking a sip. It was slightly warm but Noah ignored it. Noah jumped onto the bed, crossing her legs and making herself comfy. Turning her head she saw that her room mate was curled up in her room. Noah grinned before speaking. "Hey roomie!" Noah knew she annoyed the girl but it amused her a lot.[/classy]

Her kind-of-well-really annoying roommate, Noah. She was a sweet girl, but at times seemed oblivious to Maddy's needs.
She risked a peek from underneath her fortress of pillows and blankets to see Noah take a sip of her unfinished Red Bull and plop cross-legged unto her bed, crying out loudly, "Hey roomie!"
'Ughhh, how rude,' she thought to herself, but she didn't say it out loud. Instead, she dragged herself upwards so that she sat up and faced Noah. Her hair was tousled and her shirt was wrinkled, making her resemble a typical Californian hot mess. "Didn't you notice I was just trying to have some peace and quiet?" she blurted, but in a very quiet voice, almost mouse like. Maddy wasn't one to offend people, but she was a bit upset by it.
"I mean ... sorry, I--" Now she was stuttering over her words. It was so confusing as to what she wanted to say to the girl. "Nevermind," she settled. Maddy flopped back onto her bed, making a loud thump noise.
She closed her eyes and just hoped that Noah would get the message.
