SEVENTEEN. BUBBLY. FEMININE. HETEROSEXUAL. SINGLE.
[classy=appdesc]Oh, hey DALLAS! Look who's it is! It's SKYLAR JANE RYAN! Oh, uh... perhaps you know them by their nickname, SJ or SKY? Anyway, this certain blessing in disguise came to us on June 12th, and grew up to be a hefty 5'5. You can always tell it's SKY because of their LIGHT BROWN, SHORT hair, CHOCOLATE eyes and MEGAWATT SMILE. Not to mention they've gotten themselves NO TATTOOS! You know, everyone says they look like EMMA WATSON? I personally don't see it though ....

[classy=app1]The fat lard of a principal looked over his papers with a rather disinterested attitude. He noticed you sitting down, but doesn't really have the courtesy to look up from his desk. To you, he says out loud. "Let's begin sha'll we? Tell me the basic details about yourself." With a cough, he shuffled through is papers and glanced at you once through his small eye glasses.
"Well, my name is Skylar Jane Ryan, but most people call me SJ or Sky when they get to know me. I'm currently seventeen years old, and I'm registering here as a Junior, Sir. I'm from Dallas, Texas, but my parents thought it would be better to send me here because of my... err, problems with people. A few things about me, maybe? Okay, my favorite color is green, I have a mild case of OCPD, which actually stands for Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder. It's not the same as OCD. I'm also afraid of spiders, and I have issues mostly when people get mad at me."
With a sigh, he leaned back in his chair, threw his glasses on the desk and ran his chubby fingers through thinning, greasy hair. He pinched the nose of his bridge and closed his eyes tightly as he said, "You know about the truth of this place. Now, I didn't invite you personally, my staff did. So please, give me a run down of your power." With his eyes still shut, the principal gestured with one arm toward you to begin.
"When I was younger, probably about twelve, is when my powers first showed themselves. The main focus of my abilities include what I was informed to be Psionic Blasts. The power involves causing people pain, making them believe illusions, and possibly even disabling them or paralysing them. Even brain damage. It's not particularly a great ability when you're trying to make friends. I'm still figuring out how to actually harm people to a great extent, which is not really something I don't want to do. I'm not mean... err. Basically, I can only make someone feel pain, and make them see something they have not actually seen. I'm beginning to be able to make people faint if I focus hard enough, but nothing more. Most of my power is used when I'm angry, or scared. I'm still learning to control it and keep it from being random."
Finally, his eyes opened groggily. However, he wasn't much warmer. He yawned loudly and largely as he looked over your paper. With eyes watery and face red he continued, "I see why we would have invited you. Let's see..ah yes. Mind telling a bit about your family and where you're from?"
"Like I said before sir, I'm from Dallas, Texas. My parents are Dean and Melissa Ryan. I have a younger brother, but as of right now, he's not shown any special abilities, so he gets to stay with them. They were very worried at first, thinking I had some kind of brain problem. But now they're afraid of me. They don't want to go anywhere near me... so you can say I'm not really very close to my family. I've just arrived here, and I have just enough money to stay at that hotel one more night... So I hope this process goes pretty fast. I don't exactly have very many other places to go."
While you were talking, the principal had made himself comfortable by leaning back in his chair and intertwining his fingers. "Hmpf. You should fit right in. May I ask, what are your plans in the future? Outside of AMG?"
"Well, I was hoping once I get more control of my powers, I can try to go to school like normal kids... get a degree, maybe marry and start a family. Of course, I'm only a Junior in High School, so I haven't thought too far ahead. Only general ideas."
He looks much more interested now, rather awake and in a slightly better mood. "Tell me, do you have any hobbies?" he inquired, creating soft jazz hands at the word 'hobbies' as if to mock it. "You're aware that it may be difficult to continue these on the island, as you may not leave outside of break?" It was more of a statement than a question.
"Oh... well I'm not sure they are harmful hobbies. I like soccer. I used to play in my elementary and junior high years. I also draw, and I'm pretty good with an acoustic guitar. That's really about it. I'm not very skilled in a lot of things because after my parents figured out I'm a freak, they took me out of many of my programs. I was in Karate once, but I only got to brown. I don't have a black belt yet."
The principal crossed his fat arms and leaned on his desk. In a much more serious tone, he asked, "Be honest, child. How do you feel about all of this...supernatural stuff?" his shoulders shrugged as he said it.
"I feel unwanted... that's the most hurtful one. I don't have many places I belong to... so this is kind of a safe haven. It's pretty sad when even your own family doesn't want you around."
He leaned back on the chair that squeaked under his weight. "I see. Personally, I have mixed feelings. Anyway, we're finished now." The Principal grunted loudly as he got up to shake your hand. "It was a pleasure meeting you, do you have any questions for AMG?" he added, as he let go of your hand and buzzed the receptionist to lead you out.
"Uhm, no, not really. I just hope this application process goes fast. I need a place to call home more than anything else right now."
