It had been a long time since Jimmy had stepped foot in a school. It seemed alien, cold and horribly daunting, even for someone of his size. It was a strange feeling, the tight knot in his stomach, coming back to school. Though he was now sitting on the other side of the desk - a teach no less. It was almost an impossible thought that anyone in their sane mind had allowed Jimmy to become a teacher. A chemistry teacher. The only real thing Jimmy recalled about Chemistry was how to make a bomb from a bin and a match. But he had a four-hundred page book set for each year that he could follow - how hard was it really? He would just give them all 'B minus' and be done with it. Besides, in a school like this who was really going to care about Chemistry when they could just throw flames at each other, or fly off the building. The subject felt almost redundant.7
Nevertheless, Jimmy stepped into the entrance hall of the building, his eyes glancing round at the tacky decoration. He didn't have any bags with him - they would be following him later. That was the one big issue Jimmy had with the job. Having to live in the stupid place.
Packing up his apartment at home had been difficult, his whole life was now in boxes waiting to be stacked up in a tiny room (which probably didn't have a balcony or a hot tub). A big part of him was regretting the move, but the other part reminded him of all the little powers he could steal, just from a touch to the shoulder. He could be pretty much unstoppable in moments - if only for a day. Still, the chaos could be incredible - and he really did need a new flat screen TV.
Biting his tongue he walked a few more paces into the entrance, dodging a teenager who ran past him. It would take a lot of getting use to, this place. No more late night parties half-way through the week. No drugs, No sex - well, limited sex. Jimmy had yet to find anyone in those short moments of any interest, but there was still time. Jimmy wasn't beneath sleeping with students, but he couldn't slap that on his reputation straight away. He had to lay low, stick to the staff for now. Thought they were probably all old and wrinkly and with a sex drive of a panda. Jimmy wrinkled his nose at the thought.
Taking another few steps in he placed himself under a portrait of what looked like the current principle (thought some artistic licence had been used on his weight) and pulled out his phone. He was supposed to be waiting for another member of staff to show him around (he hoped they would just provide a map and leave, but that would be too lucky). Running a hand through his hair he looked around, seeing if he could spot the other teacher before they spotted him.

Knowing that no one was out to get him was an odd feeling for him to have. After so many years of running he could finally stay still and have some peace and quiet to himself. And then students were kidnapped and suddenly he felt like a vulnerable little kid again. His first instinct hadn’t been to protect himself though, that had been second. Takhasis was a father now. His first thought was to make sure his son was okay. Lately Jo had been coming to the island with his father and spending all day with Takhasis in the classrooms, or with other teachers that the man trusted. He needed to know that his son was in safe hands and daycare was not a safe place. Today? Today he was with his uncle, aunt and two cousins. None of them biological family; they were good friends of Takhasis’. His son meant everything to him. Everything. If he had to kill to keep his boy safe he would in a heartbeat and it certainly wouldn’t be the first time.
He had a lot on his mind, but that was nothing new. His mind was a palace with a very disorganized pattern to it. He worried about his son. He worried about his past catching up on him. He reminded himself that he was blind in one eye and thus didn’t have depth perception. He wondered what he would have for lunch and what grades he was going to live and soccer plays and geography lessons. It was a very busy place to live under his expressionless face and shaggy hair. Mundane things. Average things. But a lot of things all at once, as if he had eight separate trains of thought going at a time. Two of them never stopped or went off track and those two were about Lili and Jo, but those were understandable. Three years without her wasn’t quite enough for him, but at least he had taken the step to remove his wedding band finally. Mind you, he still wore it on a chain while Jo wore his mother’s wedding ring on a chain. The kid was finally at the age when he was curious so the man was working his way up to having to answer questions. Jo was noticing the other kids he was friends with had mommy’s and he didn’t. Uhg. Stop thinking about her. Bring in a different train now.
Focus on the task as hand, fucker. Showing the new teacher around. Right. Yeah. Let’s do this. Takhasis raked a hand through his hair and pushed it off of his face, temporarily revealing the deep scarring that ran from forehead to cheek until his hair moved back to cover it again. Whatever. Not like it was obstructing his vision or anything. He had the majority of his hair pulled back in a pony at the base of his neck but a large bit of it couldn’t reach the black band the hair was being tied back in. According to Jo it looked like a pirate’s ponytail. He accepted this. Maybe he would invest in an eye patch and really pirate it up. That was actually really tempting but he would save that for another day. Takhasis’ hands slipped into his pockets as he walked at a rather slow pace, able to see the teacher from where he was and smirking when he was close enough to see detail in his face. His hands slid out from his pockets and reached for Jimmy’s tie, adjusting it ever so slightly. “Crooked. Don’t you want to make a good first impression?” |
he taunted. He knew Jimmy well enough already and seeing him here was a bit of a surprise, but it didn’t show. He simply held that neutral expression. His pokerface was unbeatable. [/div]

Jimmy leant against the wall, looking up at the ceiling and inspecting the bland and crude biro decorations from the students. He smirked at a couple of them, remembering when he and his friends had drawn over his own school buildings. Though his own school was nothing like this. This seemed more of a prison...never leaving an island, trapped in class rooms. His own school hadn't given a monkey's ass where he was and what he was doing. He bunked off most of his classes, avoided as many tests as he could and only just scraping through his exams.
Pushing himself off the wall he turned just to see a familiar face reaching forward and grabbing his tie. He smirked a little and rolled his eyes at the taunt, pulling the tie from the other man's hands and tucking it away under his jacket. Lovely to see you too, he commented, letting his eyes run up and down the other's body.
They had met in a bar, a drunk night, a drunk angry night. They had both decided to turn their backs on the world and somehow collided in the same hotel room. It had been messy, but it had also been one of Jimmy's more enjoyable nights of freedom. He knew nothing about the man except his name and his shoe size (having tried to put on the wrong shoes the morning after). But to Jimmy it seemed enough. He looked up at the taller man and shook his head, I always make good first impressions, he said calmly, brushing a stray piece of hair from Takhasis' shoulder as if reminding him of the night they had spent together.
Taking a step back he pulled a pouch of tobacco and a slim piece of paper. Pressing a filter between his lips he rolled out a cigarette, ignoring the glares from some of the students. He didn't really care what they thought of him. It wasn't important. Not to him anyway. He rested the rolled cigarette between lips and searched his pockets for a lighter, almost forgetting that Takhasis was in front of him. Jimmy rummaged in his jacket but couldn't find his lighter, he was sure he'd hidden it away in a very safe place close to his heart. Cursing under his breath he tried the pockets of his suit trousers, no luck. He looked up at Takhasis expecting there to be a lighter in front of his face. But of course, there was nothing but Takhasis' face - not that that wasn't appealing.
So are we going on this tour or what? he said finally, tucking the rolled cigarette away and running a hand through his hair. As long as we finish in your room or the showers, I really have no problems. Anything less, I'm leaving right now...

He had hated authority figures and teachers and rules and guidelines. Every bit of it was torture for him in his days as a reckless know-it-all teenager. Like most of the kids he saw come and go from AMG he had taken his pubescent angst out on fellow students and annoying teachers. He was a punk and a bully and a tyrant. But Takhasis liked to think that he was making up for it now by trying to raise his son properly and helping out with the students here as best as he could. It took a lot to get through to kids like that and even though he knew exactly how it didn’t mean he would always succeed. Some of these kids would need to hit rock bottom before they realized that they needed to start accepting the help that they were offered. A wise old man stuck in the body of a thirty year old. His hands dropped to his sides and his thumbs hooked into his belt loops as he leaned bacon his heels, allowing Jimmy to fix his own tie for the time being. “It would be lovelier if you had less clothes on,” |
he spoke in a soft voice, so as no passing students could catch enough of what he said. Takhasis wasn’t an idiot nor was he completely blind. He caught Jimmy’s wandering eye and shifted his weight a bit so one hip cocked to the side in a rather sassy manner. “Maybe in the bedroom but you can’t seduce everyone here, and no that’s not a challenge,” he added with a bit of arrogance to his voice. Taunting. A small change from the insults they had thrown at each other the last time he had seen Jimmy. A hair was brushed off of his shoulder and Takhasis simply turned on the balls of his feet, gesturing for Jimmy to follow with a little bit of a sway to his hips when he turned around. “Patience, grasshopper,” he voiced with a bit more emphasis on his accent so he sounded like Mister Miyagi from the Karate Kid movies. “Put that away, you can’t smoke in here.” But Jimmy was already tucking it away somewhere as Takhasis started walking forward and making his way through the hallway with a steady and casual pace to him. “If you behave then we’ll end in the showers, and if you’re extra good you can come home with me.” He was speaking in a similar manner to how he spoke to his own son, tilting his head back to make sure Jimmy was following. “Do I need to hold your hand while I show you around? Or can you manage on your own?” [/div]

Jimmy raised an eyebrow at Takhasis' comment, smirking slightly to himself, It can be arranged, he said simply unbuttoning his top button and pulling his shirt apart slightly, the tie unravelling a little. He couldn't help but smile to himself, watching the little sway in the other man's hip. It was so...hypnotising. Jimmy looked up, not a challenge? He shrugged, half accepting it wasn't and half privately making it one. He could easily seduce most of the people at this godforsaken school - students as well as teachers, thought that was forbidden.
He grazed his teeth along his bottom lip and followed the other man obediently. He felt like a lost puppy in this place, having no idea where he was going or what he was even doing. At least he knew one person in this place - which was more to do with luck and poor judgement than anything else. Grasshopper? he asked slowly, wondering if he had heard the other man correctly. Jimmy was half tempted to grab the man by his sassy hips and push him into the nearest empty classroom, but he figured he better get the tour done sooner rather than later. At least he would know where all the best spots were for a cheeky cigarette.
I'm always good, Doll. he whispered softly, walking next to the other man and slipping a hand onto Takhasis' ass. He didn't know why he felt like he had control over someone who had been at this school far longer than himself. But then Jimmy always assumed he was in control of everything and everyone around him. But with Takhasis there was something else.
He shoved the man lightly when he began talking down to him, holding hands? How ridiculous. Not with so many people around anyway. Jimmy moved his hand back into his own pocket and away from Takhasis' ass. He didn't want to draw attention to himself on his first day. Not that he hadn't done that already...
So what's first? The showers or your room?

Not usually. But Jimmy seemed to bring out the weirdest parts of Takhasis in all aspects of life. He was just so…irresistible. Jimmy somewhat reminded Takhasis of the best friend he’d had through high school, which he couldn’t decide was good or bad. It was familiar and familiar was somewhat foreign to the Asian man. “Later, sweetheart,” |
he teased ever so lightly in an almost bored voice, gesturing for Jimmy to follow with two fingers while he made sure to add a bit of sass to his hips. His drag phase really paid off sometimes. Apparently it would continue to pay off come Mother’s Day at the day care Jo went to. Every few steps Takhasis looked back to make sure Jimmy was following, always over the right shoulder no matter which side Jimmy was walking on. The tiny quirks of Takhasis that hinted at his blindness, quirks he usually tried to hide for reasons unknown to him. The scar across his face wasn’t a hint at it or anything. Not to mention the discoloration and permanently dilated pupil. Honestly, Takhasis didn’t really see a point in this tour. The classrooms were numbers. Most had the names of the teachers or at least the subject on it. All that was really needed was to know where the staff room was and how to get to the dorms and the Hub. Really, what was the point in that? Not that he was complaining. A little one on one time with Jimmy was always invited. Jimmy was beside him now and a hand was slipped onto his behind, which he removed with his elbow. Nudging Jimmy’s arm off. “There’s students around. Behave,” he warned in that deep, low voice of his. Takhasis hadn’t even been one for public displays of affection with Lili, let alone with someone he knew as little bout as Jimmy. It just wasn’t his thing. A little hand holding and cuddles was okay but no one liked watching over sexualized strangers unless it was a porn. Being shoved didn’t really bother him much. He simply took a step to the side and simply stayed there. I live in Castles. So the showers.” He turned a corner and was now where a majority of the art classrooms were placed, which was pretty obvious with the colorfully painted doors.
