SEVENTEEN. SARCASTIC. CREATIVE. HETEROSEXUAL. SINGLE.
[classy=appdesc]Oh, hey LA! Look who's it is! It's Wren Ryder Anderson! Oh, uh... perhaps you know them by their nickname, no nickname? Anyway, this certain blessing in disguise came to us on july fifteenth, and grew up to be a hefty five ten. You can always tell it's wren because of their blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin. Not to mention they've gotten themselves zero tattoos! You know, everyone says they look like Lucas Till? I personally don't see it though ....

[classy=app1]The fat lard of a principal looked over his papers with a rather disinterested attitude. He noticed you sitting down, but doesn't really have the courtesy to look up from his desk. To you, he says out loud. "Let's begin sha'll we? Tell me the basic details about yourself." With a cough, he shuffled through is papers and glanced at you once through his small eye glasses.
the blonde sat there awkwardly, watching every move the man made. as if he was cautious as to what the older man would do to him. a polite smile made its way to his face though, when the principal asked the question. "uhm..." wren ran a hand through his hair, "my name's wren anderson. you know, like the bird?" a small chuckle escaped his lips, trying to ease the tension in the room even though his efforts had done no impact to the aura in the room. his eyes jumped around the room, thinking about what else he had to say. "i'm sixteen, upcoming sophomore!" he must have sounded like a child there. oh well. wren finally managed to make himself comfortable, the smile finally settling nicely on his features. "i'm a straight a student." he added. surely, that would form some sort of impression on the old man. right?
With a sigh, he leaned back in his chair, threw his glasses on the desk and ran his chubby fingers through thinning, greasy hair. He pinched the nose of his bridge and closed his eyes tightly as he said, "You know about the truth of this place. Now, I didn't invite you personally, my staff did. So please, give me a run down of your power." With his eyes still shut, the principal gestured with one arm toward you to begin.
it looked like the man could care less about this, earning a roll of eyes from the boy. however, once he heard the mention of powers, wren sat up and his lips twitched into an even wider smile. "fire's my thing, you see." a casual tone lingered in his voice, all signs of previous anxiety gone. "it's not like the kind of pyrokinesis where i can just control whatever fire there is." he held up his hand, watching as it caught on fire, vanishing as quickly as it had come. "it's more like, i can set myself on fire and control whatever i make." looking up to see his interviewer, wren frowned when he saw the man's eyes closed. talk about rude. "anyways, the fire is really draining and i can't use it for more than ten minutes at longest. think of it as a limited version of the human torch." he mentioned the superhero idly.
"i don't really remember how i got my powers." he started, his eyes looking to the side, trying to remember how exactly he received his... gift. "i must have been pretty young though." he nodded to himself. "my mother told me that i was seven. seven, right? no wait... six.. seven? i was in the kitchen. i was like, writing some story and the notebook just... well, the notebook just lit up. along with my hands." he tugged at the sleeves of his flannel, something he always did when he was nervous. "and i guess i've been hiding my powers ever since."
Finally, his eyes opened groggily. However, he wasn't much warmer. He yawned loudly and largely as he looked over your paper. With eyes watery and face red he continued, "I see why we would have invited you. Let's see..ah yes. Mind telling a bit about your family and where you're from?"
"i was actually born in louisiana." he let out a sigh, leaning back on the chair. "i didn't really spend a long time there. i was just there until i was two?" he let out a hearty chuckle before going back to his story. "we moved to los angeles after, so my sister can focus on her acting and modelling career. life was fantastic. both of my parents worked and my sister helped by pitching in with what money she made from her gigs. of course, until the night my dad found out about my powers." he gulped, "my dad wasn't the biggest fan of powers. he considered me a freak. however, my mom and my sister stood by me. they took me and moved to new york since it was another city where my sister could book modelling jobs. my mom ended up being vice president of marketing."
"life should have gone fantastic. my mom being some rich administrator and my sister all famous. not really. all of people's attentions were towards either my sister or my mom so i was just the black sheep in the family."
"i attended some rich kid prep school and life was great, for the time being. when I reached eighth grade, me and my mom moved to Castles. my mom retired happily and my sister stayed in new york to continue her career. she visits us a lot, so no harm there. we stayed low key, my mom enrolled me to a public school. i tried controlling my powers but it got out of hand once. it was last month; there was this big kid that was pushing me around and making fun of me loudly to his friends. i sort of lost it. my whole body ignited on fire and i burned the boy… i had to come up with an excuse for that..." he took a deep breath, looking back up at the principal. "they believed me when i said it was some freak fire though. luckily, the kid was some pothead and had a lighter in his pocket so they decided that it was him who caused the fire and i guess that's the only interesting thing about me.”
While you were talking, the principal had made himself comfortable by leaning back in his chair and intertwining his fingers. "Hmpf. You should fit right in. May I ask, what are your plans in the future? Outside of AMG?"
the boy straightened up in his chair and thought about the question for a moment. "well, i'd surely want to master my powers." his fingers ignited into flames and he stared at it, watching the fire intently before it simmered away. "otherwise, I want to be an author. that, or a reporter and live in new york with my sister.. simple life and maybe even get married one day with this... certain girl."
he paused for a moment before shaking his head, "actually, I wanna move back to california. find my father. you know, the one that we left behind and tell him everything. everything he missed in life and how happy me, my sister, and my mom are without him. of course, if i manage to calm myself enough to have a decent conversation with him and if he's still alive."
He looks much more interested now, rather awake and in a slightly better mood. "Tell me, do you have any hobbies?" he inquired, creating soft jazz hands at the word 'hobbies' as if to mock it. "You're aware that it may be difficult to continue these on the island, as you may not leave outside of break?" It was more of a statement than a question.
"my hobbies? i love to write. whether it be fiction or fact, writing is probably the best i'm at. i also like drawing and visiting other places but writing all the way." he listened to the man talk and frowned, shaking his head. "sure, you can stop me from visiting places but you can't stop me from drawing or writing. come on, a school full of powers? now, that could make a good story." the boy grinned, nodding to himself as he talked.
The principal crossed his fat arms and leaned on his desk. In a much more serious tone, he asked, "Be honest, child. How do you feel about all of this...supernatural stuff?" his shoulders shrugged as he said it.
"how do I feel about our powers?" he raised both eyebrows at the question, not expecting a question like this to be asked and shrugged. "it's weird, i guess. i mean, sure. it's cool in comic books and tv and stories but I honestly don't know. having powers is more like a burden to me. knowing that you have the very ability to hurt other people? eh. it's also a bit cool, i guess. seeing all these other people with powers."
He leaned back on the chair that squeaked under his weight. "I see. Personally, I have mixed feelings. Anyway, we're finished now." The Principal grunted loudly as he got up to shake your hand. "It was a pleasure meeting you, do you have any questions for AMG?" he added, as he let go of your hand and buzzed the receptionist to lead you out.
"Nice meeting you too. Not really. Peace."
